Lady Alessa has summoned her ladies-in-waiting to hear the song of a sister thrush. 

These birds require a male to mate, but once his role is complete, he abandons her, and a female takes his place at her side. Though males come and go, sister thrushes pair for life, sometimes alternating egg-laying duties. 

Lady Alessa wants her ladies-in-waiting to catch the elusive sister thrush for her aviary. 

The one who succeeds will become her wife.
