I expected to like this book, but I didn't expect how much I would love it. It has it all: well written themes, stunning worldbuilding, adorable characters, heartfelt story, and a gorgeous cover! I especially loved seeing a relationship explored from the point of view of another species. Some books come and go on my bookshelves, but this one is here to stay.
It's certainly something I've not really read before (Octopuse protags!!!) but I really enjoyed it. The world building was great and quite unique, albeit a bit sad at times but it ended on a happy note which was nice. Thanks for the story!
